Rep. Keith Self, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 3rd district since 2023, shared several updates via social media regarding recent developments involving President Trump and legislative activities.

On March 6, 2025, Rep. Self announced that "President Trump signs executive proclamation designating March 2025 as Women’s History month." He emphasized the administration's efforts in delivering achievements for American women.

The following day, on March 7, 2025, he highlighted economic progress under the current administration by stating that "In President Trump’s first full month in office, our country gained 10,000 manufacturing jobs." He expressed his satisfaction with these developments as an example of success.

Later on the same day, Rep. Self discussed legislative strategies related to government spending. He mentioned that "Members who NEVER vote for CRs have never had an ally like President Trump!" and indicated his intention to support a clean Continuing Resolution (CR) while expecting the President to use Article I authority to address spending issues.
