Rep. Keith Self, serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 3rd district since 2023, shared his perspectives on national security, parental rights, and government spending through a series of tweets on April 21, 2025. Self voiced opinions related to law enforcement actions, societal values, and fiscal policies.

On April 21, 2025, Rep. Keith Self remarked about an action taken by the Trump administration, noting, "The Trump administration took another terrorist off our streets! Will Democrats buy plane tickets to visit Harpreet Singh?" He cited a source suggesting, "Harpreet Singh is wanted in India for his terror links, including allegedly planning more than a dozen grenade attacks on police officials."

In another post on the same day, Self criticized the political Left, expressing his concern that in 2025, "The Left will do anything to tear away parental rights."

Later, Rep. Self emphasized the importance of fiscal responsibility, stating, "I’ll never stop fighting to rein in government spending. Our soaring national debt threatens American families, American pocketbooks, and American sovereignty. To save America, we must slash the spending."
