Frisco ISD volleyball players earn All-District honors across multiple categories

Frisco ISD volleyball players have been recognized for their exceptional performances by being selected to the All-District teams in districts 11-5A, 12-5A, and 9-4A. The selections were made by the coaches of the respective teams within each district.

Madi Victoriano from Centennial was named MVP, while Julianna Hernandez from Memorial received the Defensive MVP award. Faith Roulston-Aliu, also from Memorial, was recognized as Blocker of the Year. Jaiden Harris from Liberty earned the title of Hitter of the Year, and Riley Wong, also from Liberty, was named Setter of the Year. Zoe Patel from Centennial was honored as Newcomer of the Year. The Sportsmanship Award went to Frisco and Liberty's coaching staff received Coaching Staff of the Year.

The first team included Morgan Ferguson and Maddie LaGrone from Liberty; Ashlyn Jones from Centennial; Ava Steffe and Sophia Arena from Memorial; Karli Jordan and London Merchant from Frisco; Brooke Lee from Heritage; Sydney Strenger from Emerson; Lyla Fisher and Kaylie Davis from Independence; and Teagan Dixon from Lebanon Trail.

On the second team were Mackenzie Raymond, Sophia Hung, and Aubree Pratt from Liberty; Kirsten Mott and Lexi Anderson from Centennial; Raegan Frazier from Memorial; Kayla Green and Cameron Cecil from Frisco; Emily McShan, Elizabeth Villanueva, Caroline Hoag, Presley Weber, Saira Grant, Layla Wilson representing Heritage, Emerson, Independence, and Lebanon Trail respectively.

Wakeland's Sarah Pfiffner shared MVP honors with Alex Richter of Highland Park. Hannah Lee (Wakeland) and Brooklyn Bailey (Highland Park) were named Hitters of the Year. Gigi Whann (Highland Park) took Libero of the Year while Aubree Fernandez (Wakeland) secured Defensive Player of the Year. Sarah Floyd (Highland Park) was Newcomer of the Year. Layla Baker (Lone Star) was awarded Setter of the Year with Kyler Birkelbach (Lone Star) earning Blocker of the Year recognition. Wakeland's coaching staff was celebrated as Coaching Staff of the Year alongside receiving a Sportsmanship Award along with Newman Smith.

First-team members included Jaleah Bauss, Bella Wood, Emerson Jones (Wakeland); Emma Wang, Tiffany Lindo, Mollie Brane (Highland Park); Camille Perry and Lyla Crowder (Lone Star); Breanna Smith and Mariah Akinsola (Reedy); Luisa Perozo and Aaliyah Castro (Newman Smith); Chloe Davis (Creekview), Cheyanne Brundidge (The Colony), Alondra Barcenas (RL Turner).

Second-team selections featured Abby Parkinson, Alohi Bandy, Emily Dufresne (Wakeland); Caroline Cannon, Kate Whightman Talia Lardner(Highland Park); Shaelyn Ward Tilah Perez Aeda Ra(Lone Star); Gabby Vallejos Charlie Henderson(Reedy); Zania Wilder Kennady Hughes(Newman Smith); Sinaya Holder Jaylin Holmes(Creekview); Amaya Jones(The Colony), Athena Noel(RL Turner).

Panther Creek saw Marie Wilson being honored as Hitter of the Year with Auna Wiegand and Amani Hawkins making it to First Team. Ryann Surratt Maddie Willingham represented Panther Creek on Second Team.
