The following day, January 28, Rep. Self announced the introduction of a new bill aimed at altering funding within the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). In his words: "Today, I introduced the FIZZ-NO Act, to eliminate funding for sugary carbonated beverages from SNAP."
