Rep. Keith Self, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 3rd district, has recently expressed his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Self replaced former U.S. Congress member Van Taylor in 2023 and has been vocal about matters concerning national security and immigration.

On January 30, 2025, Rep. Keith Self addressed the issue of information leaks related to ICE operations. He stated that "Individuals who 'leak' and place our officers at great risk should be exposed and publicly shamed." He emphasized that leaking details of an ICE operation poses significant risks to law enforcement personnel, calling it "unconscionable."

Later that day, Self commented on public sentiment towards criminals as portrayed by Hollywood. In his tweet, he remarked that "Despite what Hollywood might think, the American people are NOT crying over these criminals! Get them out of here."

On January 31, 2025, Rep. Self expressed surprise over the voting decisions of Republican Senators Collins and Murkowski. He noted their support for a particular measure but pointed out their lack of support for RFK Jr., stating "Republican Senators Collins and Murkowski voted for this, but they won’t support RFK Jr. Shocking!"
