The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees has adopted its 2024-25 priorities following two workshops dedicated to their development. These priorities are aspirational and intended to guide the District's work over the next year. This initiative is part of a framework for ongoing strategic change that Frisco ISD refers to as Dynamic Organizational Strategy, which replaces the concept of a long-term strategic plan in favor of continuous improvement.
The 2024-25 Board priorities include:
1. Uniting district staff and the community to champion Frisco ISD as a premier destination for both students and staff.
2. Promoting a community-wide culture of respect that ensures positive interactions and behaviors within the learning environment.
3. Fostering excellence and student growth through differentiated, relevant learning experiences and varied student opportunities.
Public feedback played a significant role in shaping these priorities. During the workshops, the Board reviewed input from various stakeholder groups, including the District Advisory Council, campus leadership teams, teacher focus groups, and the broader community.
This summer, District leadership will develop the 2024-25 District Improvement Plan based on these Board priorities. Campuses will also create their own improvement plans using feedback from their campus communities. In August, the Board will review and act on both District and campus improvement plans, including action plans for each goal.
Periodic progress monitoring will occur throughout the year as part of the District’s local accountability system designed to measure continuous improvement efforts according to the Future-Ready Framework.
