Frisco ISD recognizes members of the Class of 2024 who have committed to post-graduation military service. Several students from the district have secured appointments to U.S. military academies, while others will participate in college-level Reserve Officers’ Training Corps programs designed to prepare them for roles as officers in the U.S. military. Additionally, more than two dozen graduates have announced plans to enlist directly in various branches of the military.
Students from the Class of 2024 who have declared their intentions for military service were honored at the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees’ regular May meeting. The following students and their respective future commitments were highlighted:
- Kealaka Bandy, Wakeland - U.S. Military Academy at West Point
- Amir Banks, Reedy - Virginia Military Institute
- Joshua Lea, Liberty - U.S. Military Academy at West Point
- Olivia Lee, Reedy - U.S. Naval Academy
- Nathan Madrinan, Independence - U.S. Naval Academy
- Alexander Ngo, Heritage - U.S. Military Academy at West Point
- Jackson Runyan, Reedy - U.S. Naval Academy
Additional students pursuing higher education with ROTC commitments include:
