The Class of 2024 crossed the stage this month, closing a major chapter of their lives. As they step into the future, Frisco ISD celebrates all they have accomplished.

For the first time in Frisco ISD history, graduates from 12 high schools collected their diplomas at the Ford Center at the Star, as Panther Creek and Emerson had their first graduating classes. The Class of 2024 included 5,300 graduates, a class of students that entered high school at the height of a global pandemic. After the ups and downs that marked their first years of high school, they came back stronger and more resilient than ever.

Of the graduates who self-reported their plans, over 91% are headed to trade school or a two- or four-year college or university. They are headed to schools across 46 states and Washington, D.C., with the majority staying in Texas. Together, the students were offered millions in scholarships to continue their pursuit of knowledge.

The top self-reported destination states include Oklahoma, Arkansas, Indiana, California, Georgia and Colorado. Almost a dozen students reported heading overseas for their post-graduation educational plans, including to the United Kingdom, Japan, Spain and Italy.

Among the graduates were:

- More than two dozen with plans to enlist in the U.S. military

- 44 seniors who completed all requirements for the IB Diploma Programme at Frisco High School

- 27 students who earned 42 college credits through the North Texas Now! dual credit program

- Two students earned associate’s degrees from Collin College

Frisco ISD wishes all graduates success in the next chapter of their journey!
