Frisco ISD is urging new and current families to register for the 2024-25 school year, which begins on Monday, August 12, 2024. The district processes student registrations throughout the summer in the order online submissions are received.

For both new and returning students, proof of residency must be provided each year as a final step in the registration process. Elementary students will not be assigned to a class until valid proof of residency is approved. Secondary students who submit proof of residency after May 30, 2024, may not receive their schedule before the start of school.

Updated immunization records may also be required to finalize registration before the new school year begins. Parents will receive a welcome letter via email once their online registration form has been processed and enrollment is complete.

Questions regarding registration over the summer can be directed to ISRegistration@friscoisd.org. After the school year begins, inquiries should be made at the relevant campus.

Parents and guardians of current students received an email in April with a unique snapcode and instructions to complete annual online registration for each student. This process cannot be completed without this email containing the unique snapcode. The form also allows families to indicate if their student will not return to FISD for the new school year.

Frisco ISD is now enrolling new students entering kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2024-25 school year. This includes families moving into Frisco ISD, registering incoming kindergarteners, or re-enrolling former students.

New families should note that Nelson Middle School is closed to new student enrollment for 2024-25; instead, these students will enroll at Wester Middle School with transportation provided by the District.

FISD invites parents of children who may qualify for free full-day pre-kindergarten to submit their information to determine eligibility. Students must be four years old on or before September 1, 2024, and meet specific requirements.
