Frisco ISD volleyball teams have successfully advanced to the playoffs, with Liberty High School leading as the District 11-5A champion and Wakeland High School sharing the title of District 12-5A co-champion.
The University Interscholastic League has introduced a new structure for the volleyball playoffs, dividing them into Division I and Division II across classifications from 2A to 6A. This change places Frisco ISD teams in three different playoff brackets this year:
- 5A Division I: Centennial, Frisco, Reedy
- 5A Division II: Liberty, Lone Star, Memorial, Wakeland
- 4A Division I: Panther Creek
The first-round matches are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, November 4th and 5th. The matchups are as follows:
Panther Creek will face North Hills at Carrollton Newman Smith High School on Monday at 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at spicket.events/cfbisd.
Wakeland is set to compete against Memorial at Heritage High School on Monday at 6:30 p.m., with tickets available through tickets.friscoisd.org.
Centennial will play against Reedy on Tuesday at Emerson High School starting at 6 p.m. Tickets for this game are also available via tickets.friscoisd.org.
Liberty is matched up against Lone Star on Tuesday at Lebanon Trail High School with a start time of 6:30 p.m. Ticket purchases can be made through tickets.friscoisd.org.
Finally, Frisco will go head-to-head with Highland Park on Tuesday at Lovejoy High School beginning at 6:30 p.m. Ticket information is provided by Lovejoy HS Hometown Ticketing.
