Players from Frisco ISD have made significant impacts in the recent All-District soccer selections for districts 11-5A, 12-5A, and 11-4A. The selections were made by coaches from the respective districts.
Memorial's JP Ramos was named the Most Valuable Player. Offensive Players of the Year included Jared Perez from Centennial, Lars Clark from Lebanon Trail, and Aden Mathews from Emerson. John Pacheco from Emerson received the Midfield Player of the Year honor. Centennial’s Noah Wanzer was awarded Defensive Player of the Year, with Artur Rojas from Heritage recognized as Goalkeeper of the Year.
The Utility Player of the Year accolades were shared between Christian Bourg from Independence and Lucas Godoy from Liberty. Hayden Gibb of Heritage was named the Newcomer of the Year. Centennial's head coach, John Summers, received the Coach of the Year award, while Liberty’s Kyle Parks was honored as Assistant Coach of the Year.
Among the first team selections, several players from Centennial and Memorial were recognized, along with those from other Frisco ISD schools such as Liberty and Emerson.
On the second team, Victor Stovall, Miles Smith, and Ethan Leal represented Centennial.
In additional districts, Jack O’Grady from Highland Park was named Most Valuable Player for his district, while players like Jack Minsky from Wakeland and Harrison Nitz from Reedy received major offensive and midfield honors, respectively. The defensive accolade was given to Ronaldo Garcia of R.L. Turner.
Coaches Andy Holt from Wakeland and Scott Turner from Highland Park shared the district's Coach of the Year title. Newcomers included Joel Segura from R.L. Turner and Adam Ibrahim from Panther Creek, who was one of the most notable players on the Panther Creek list, alongside Ryder Astorga and Carlos Martinez.
The recognition reflects the diverse talent across the districts, highlighting Frisco ISD’s soccer programs.
