Frisco ISD girls soccer players receive district honors

Several girls soccer players from Frisco ISD have been recognized with All-District honors in the 11-5A, 12-5A, and 11-4A categories. These selections were determined by the coaches from each district team.

For individual accolades, Chloe Bryant from Memorial was named Most Valuable Player, while Lebanon Trail's Madi Asel earned the title of Offensive Player of the Year. Memorial players were also acknowledged for their roles, with Jordan Bryant securing Midfield Player of the Year, and Emily Mills being named Defensive Player of the Year. Emerson's Lauren Short was recognized as Goalkeeper of the Year.

The Newcomer of the Year title went to Caroline May from Memorial and Alexa Cosby from Lebanon Trail. The award for Utility Player of the Year was given to Eleni Lagusis from Centennial. Additionally, Wendy Knight from Memorial was honored as Coach of the Year.

In the broader district recognition, Addie Brink from Highland Park was awarded Most Valuable Player, while Kennedy Clark from Wakeland took home the Offensive Player of the Year accolade. Other significant awards included Morgan Landry from Wakeland for Midfield Player of the Year and Reese Liner from Highland Park for Defensive Player of the Year.

Brooklyn Perez from Reedy was distinguished as the Newcomer of the Year, and Natalie Hernandez from The Colony along with Ayeza Salas from Creekview shared the Co-Utility Players of the Year honor. Caroline Reedy from Creekview was named Goalkeeper of the Year. Jimmie Lankford from Wakeland was recognized as Coach of the Year.

Paxton Szymanski from Panther Creek was named Goalkeeper of the Year, and her teammate Kylie Campbell received the Defender of the Year honor.

The incident provided athletes from multiple schools with the opportunity to be acknowledged for their contributions on their respective teams across first and second teams in all districts mentioned.
